WORKING TOGETHER:
CHILDREN'S HEALTH

There is nothing more essential to our health than breathing. Unfortunately, more than 400-million children are suffering silently from undiagnosed Sleep-related Breathing Disorders (SRBD), Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), and other Obstructive Airway Disorders (OAD).

Our goal is to educate pediatric professionals on the signs and symptoms and foster a more holistic approach to children's health to ensure every child has a healthy airway.

childhood airway disorders

Approximately 400-million children suffer in silence from compromised airways. Childhood airway disorders often go undetected causing irreversible, long-term health issues for children. Many of the signs and symptoms can be easily recognized when a medical practitioner knows what to look for.

In addition to health issues, pediatric airway disorders can cause a lack of sleep which can impact a child's ability to focus and learn, lower their IQ by 10 points or more, cause a loss of energy and interest, and even lead to depression.

This is why the Children's Airway First Foundation was established. We are on a mission to educate pediatric professionals and revamp the medical education system to develop a more holistic approach to children's health. When taught what to look for and how to work together, pediatric dentists and pediatricians, and other pediatric professionals can quickly identify and address symptoms early on, ensuring better breathing and overall health for children.
