Our guest in the studio for this episode is Emma Cooksey, podcast host, writer, speaker, and one of the estimated 22-million diagnosed American adults suffering from obstructive sleep apnea. Through her weekly podcast “Sleep Apnea Stories,” she not only shares her journey, but she has become a champion for others suffering from obstructive sleep apnea by breaking down sleep apnea stereotypes and raising awareness of both symptoms and treatments.
Emma grew up in Scotland, where she graduated with a degree in Law and Economics from Aberdeen University. After a decade of working in higher education administration, she moved to the United States with her husband, Jason. She now resides in Florida with her husband and their two children.
