A MISSION TO FIX BEFORE SIX

DENTAL HEALTH BEGINS AT BIRTH
A child's dental health begins long before the first appearance of teeth. Starting in the womb, a baby begins to form its jaw and oral cavity. This formation continues after birth and is critical to the child's airway and dental health.
According to the latest guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), a baby's first dentist appointment should be within six months of sprouting their first tooth or by their first birthday, whichever comes first.
